What CharacterDex is
A free, community-voted database of fictional characters' personality types, plus a personality quiz. It's an unofficial fan project, for entertainment.
Community content
Personality types here are community opinion, shown with their vote counts — not facts, diagnoses, or professional advice. Please don't rely on them as such.
Acceptable use
Use CharacterDex respectfully. Don't abuse the voting system, scrape the site, or use it to harass anyone.
Names, trademarks & art
We catalogue fictional characters only, using their names and community vote data, with original, non-depicting artwork. Framework names are used nominatively. CharacterDex is unofficial and not affiliated with any rights holder.
No warranty
CharacterDex is provided “as is”, for fun. We can't guarantee it's always accurate or available.
Changes
We may update these terms; we'll note material changes here.
