Browsing the database, opening any character, taking the quiz, seeing your result, and voting are free forever — no ads, no paywalls, no locked cards. That's a promise, not a trial.
Community opinion, not a verdict
Every personality type here is community opinion, shown with its vote count and confidence — never a clinical diagnosis. We keep the framing playful on purpose: it's entertainment, not science.
Unofficial and fan-made
CharacterDex is an unofficial fan database. We catalogue fictional characters only — never real people — using their names and community vote data, with original, non-depicting artwork. Trademarked framework names are used only to refer to the frameworks, never to claim affiliation.
Anonymous by default
You don't need an account to take the quiz or vote — your contributions count from your device. We collect no personal profile, nothing is public by default, and you can delete or export your data at any time.
